CMU is in the process of implementing the Oracle Financials. As a part of that process, I have assumed responsibilities as an Oracle DBA.
This includes things like creating databases, trying to find the space to keep everything happy and working (spillover from my SysAd role), and just about anything else you can think of that might pertain to keeping a database " happy"
I also spend some time working on the desktop machines used to
connect to Oracle databases in various ways. This includes installing
the client side of Oracle Financials 10.7SC and various development tools
we're using to fill the gaps.
